As newcomers to off-roading, we really enjoyed the tour with Tom our guide. Level 1 was just right for us greenhorns. The first four days with our Jimny GJ were good to get used to with interesting places and views over the Croatian mountains to the Adriatic Sea. As a local, Tom always had interesting stories to tell, even about the not so nice years during the war with Serbia. We were well set up with our rear tent, even if it took a little longer to put up and take down. From Winnetou locations, wild horses, spectacularly beautiful landscapes with wonderful meadows to the later challenges of very rocky ascents and descents, with the necessary reduction in air pressure, everything was there. But we were able to manage everything well, Tom was always very helpful and prudent so that even difficult passages could be taken without damage. great photos and videos now remind us of the enchanting places. Thank you also for the interesting conversations and cooking duels with the passengers in the evenings after the tours. Keep up the good work NPL Overland.

The tour was simply fantastic. Beautiful landscapes, challenging terrain, very good accommodation and great support from Nils and Alek. They both have a lot of experience, are helpful and you just feel safe. For us rookies, it was also really nice to ride with so many nice and experienced people in the group. We learned a lot! The contact with NPLOVERLAND was and is always very nice and obliging. We are really looking forward to Tunisia with you in February 2020.

A wonderful experience! As newcomers, we were introduced to the subject very well. The evenings by the fire with the guides were lovely! There’s no better way to get to know the Balkan landscape! Highly recommended—we never once felt out of place!

After traveling the Balkans twice with Nils and NPL in recent years, this year it was the Highlands in Montenegro. First of all: — It was a really nice tour. At the beginning we had some concerns due to the group size of more than 10 vehicles, but everything worked out wonderfully. The local guide Nikola chose beautiful routes and great camping spots and gave us lots of information about the country, people and culture. In addition to the contact with local farmers around the campfire every evening, he even established a radio connection to the ISS — interesting. Nils in his indescribable manner and Tom as co-guide took care of the group and cohesion — as always very pleasant and relaxed. And as well as learning about the country, people and culture, we learned a lot about repairing fan belts, fuel pumps and filters, gearshift linkages, starter motors etc.. A big thank you to Patrick, the mechanic in the group, who always found a solution, regardless of the brand. Once again, it was great fun and the days went by far too quickly. A great tour — Latvia is actually the more interesting and extreme Poland. I learned a lot on this tour; not only about off-road driving, but also about my car. Thanks again to Artur for organizing the workshop! I will gladly travel with such a professional team again. It was a great trip like being with good friends! Looking forward to Romania!
