Bosnia and Herzegovina tour

Day 1
We meet in Croatia at Camp Garjak on Lake Peruča. There is an option to drive to the small village of Vrlika for dinner.

Day 2
We cross the border and enter Bosnia and Herzegovina. We take the road towards Livno, from where we climb up Mount Cincar. From Cincar we descend to the road and continue our journey to Lake Ramsko, where we camp.

Day 3
From Lake Ramsko we take the road to Konjic, which we will visit briefly, as we have to reach the ARK D‑0 complex, Tito’s secret bunker, which was built 300 meters underground over a period of 26 years. After a guided tour of the bunker (in English), we drive along a gravel road to Lake Uloško, where we spend the night.

Day 4
From Lake Uloško we drive along the River Neretva on a gravel road to one of the most beautiful lakes in Zelengora, Lake Orlovačko, where we spend the night.

Day 5
From Lake Orlovačko we ride through forests and pastures into the heart of Zelengora and on to the Željeznica River, where we spend the night in camp.

Day 6
From the Željeznica River, we ride first on the road and then on gravel in the direction of Bjelašnica, up to the summit from which the 1984 Olympic skiers descended. From the summit of Bjelašnica we descend to the village of Lukomir, the highest inhabited place in Bosnia and Herzegovina. We spend the night below the Bjelašnica by the river.

Day 7
From the foot of Bjelašnica, we ride through the Rakitnica gorge, which separates Bjelašnica and Visočica. At the end of the gorge, we drive up Visočica Mountain, where we ride across endless meadows. The journey ends in the fairytale small town of Konjic. We spend the night in a hotel.
