Bosnia and Herzegovina tour

Day 1
We meet in Croa­tia at Camp Gar­jak on Lake Peruča. The­re is an opti­on to dri­ve to the small vil­la­ge of Vrli­ka for din­ner.

Day 2
We cross the bor­der and enter Bos­nia and Her­ze­go­vina. We take the road towards Liv­no, from whe­re we climb up Mount Cin­car. From Cin­car we des­cend to the road and con­ti­nue our jour­ney to Lake Rams­ko, whe­re we camp.

Day 3
From Lake Rams­ko we take the road to Kon­jic, which we will visit brief­ly, as we have to reach the ARK D‑0 com­plex, Tito’s secret bun­ker, which was built 300 meters under­ground over a peri­od of 26 years. After a gui­ded tour of the bun­ker (in Eng­lish), we dri­ve along a gra­vel road to Lake Uloš­ko, whe­re we spend the night.

Day 4
From Lake Uloš­ko we dri­ve along the River Nere­t­va on a gra­vel road to one of the most beau­tiful lakes in Zel­en­go­ra, Lake Orl­o­vač­ko, whe­re we spend the night.

Day 5
From Lake Orl­o­vač­ko we ride through forests and pas­tu­res into the heart of Zel­en­go­ra and on to the Žel­jez­ni­ca River, whe­re we spend the night in camp.

Day 6
From the Žel­jez­ni­ca River, we ride first on the road and then on gra­vel in the direc­tion of Bje­laš­ni­ca, up to the sum­mit from which the 1984 Olym­pic ski­ers des­cen­ded. From the sum­mit of Bje­laš­ni­ca we des­cend to the vil­la­ge of Luko­mir, the hig­hest inha­bi­ted place in Bos­nia and Her­ze­go­vina. We spend the night below the Bje­laš­ni­ca by the river.

Day 7
From the foot of Bje­laš­ni­ca, we ride through the Rakit­ni­ca gor­ge, which sepa­ra­tes Bje­laš­ni­ca and Visoči­ca. At the end of the gor­ge, we dri­ve up Visoči­ca Moun­tain, whe­re we ride across end­less mea­dows. The jour­ney ends in the fairy­ta­le small town of Kon­jic. We spend the night in a hotel.
