Since we’ve traveled with NPL-Overland quite a few times before, we wanted to take a longer trip this year and decided on the Four-Country Camp-Hotel Tour through Montenegro, Kosovo, Serbia, and Bulgaria from July 19, 2026, to August 1, 2026.
It was the best decision we could have made! Our expectations, which were piqued by the tour description, were far exceeded.
Nils, our tour leader, and Tom, our tour guide, made the tour truly unique with their friendliness, knowledge, flexibility, sense of humor, and helpfulness. The tour was completely relaxed. Every participant got their money’s worth.
We drove for days through completely untouched nature, far from any civilization, and got to know the unique features of these four impressive countries, which are all completely different.
These countries also have a lot to offer in terms of cuisine. We would never have found these beautiful, hidden places on our own. Simply overwhelming and unforgettable!
I can’t recommend NPL-Overland highly enough. I’ll definitely be booking another tour with this tour operator soon.

We were thrilled! A fantastic island, varied and at times very challenging trails, and breathtaking views that will stay with us forever. The accommodations were also absolutely lovely, and the food every evening was a real treat. Our guide, Francesco, rounded out the week with his charming personality. Thanks to the entire organizing team!

It was our first time on the road with NPL-Overland and we were thrilled! We were on the “Hoteltour: Croatia-Mountains&Sea” in the first week of May. Great tour, great routes, great views, great group and a super great guide (Tom / Magna Expeditions)! It was great fun!

We were with the team from NPL Overland in the depths of the Tunisian Sahara. Tour. You Souane — Desert Extreme. Perfectly organized tour, excellent food, far away from the normal tourist crowds, but not a tour for desert newcomers. 5 points for this!

Everything went smoothly from A to Z. The local food was simply delicious and the atmosphere on the way was brilliant. A great group, big and small, got along wonderfully. The local Crow, led by Walid, was so hospitable and helpful. The ride over the dunes, the starry sky, the endless expanses with the sunrises and sunsets will remain in our memories forever. Thank you so much Nils for this wonderful experience. We felt safe and secure.

Thank you very much for this great nature experience! I was out and about with Gerda & Jens. I am happy to join them. Tomislav impressed me with his many stories and his extensive knowledge of Croatia and its history. And of course with the unique overnight spots. A big compliment! Gladly again! 👍

It was a great tour that lived up to the description. We were a group of six cars in total, two of which we already have, with very nice people and a thoughtful guide Tom. The first few days of our tour were easy terrain with beautiful views. Tom took us to very nice places to spend the night, whether wild camp or campsite. Some of the terrain on the last few days was a little more challenging, but thanks to Tom, even these passages were manageable. All in all, a successful and enjoyable vacation.
