Very well organized tour in an incredible landscape. It’s something you should have experienced and can only be partially captured in pictures or videos. The group was a fun mix that always provided a lot of entertainment, excitement and work. Due to the large amounts of rain, some sections were quite challenging and made for a lot of driving fun. I will definitely be going back to Serbia to experience the endless tracks. Best regards to Nils and Alek

Once again, my jeep and I embarked on the “Secret Carpathians” adventure with Alek from Rustica Expeditions as our local guide and Nils from NPL Overland as our supporter and evening entertainer. The 10-day tour was characterized by an infinitely natural landscape, sometimes challenging tracks, therefore also some psychological and mechanical failures, but overall also by the cohesion of the group. I am therefore very, very happy to recommend Alek and Nils for further adventures in the last free 4x4 paradise in Europe. With this in mind – cu-Again!

Unique! Aleksander impresses with his unique knowledge of exceptional places. Lonely together during Corona in the Carpathians. Aleksander ahead, always knows a way. You have to cut and saw your way free “occasionally”. But with 2 chainsaws and 3 handsaws it works. Campfire every evening. Nils rightly attaches great importance to this. Thank God he has a fabulous axe from Sweden. It makes splitting wood a piece of cake. The trip was very well organized. A thousand thanks to NPL. The morning briefing is very professional. You quickly learn what Aleksander means by dust-free and obstacle-free. But when he says “it can work out”, it does. You can absolutely rely on him and Nils. Their confidence in each other is completely justified. After all, it’s not every day that we drive at an average altitude of 1,600 meters on a 25 degree longitudinal and 18 degree lateral incline. And all this is rewarded with incredible views of the Carpathians, helpful and friendly people, sensational night camps and a clarity of stars that we no longer have. The scent of the wild herbs and the shower under the waterfall will remain unforgettable. A thousand thanks to Aleksander and Nils, who organized and carried out an unforgettable tour.
