Very well orga­ni­zed tour in an incre­di­ble land­scape. It’s some­thing you should have expe­ri­en­ced and can only be par­ti­al­ly cap­tu­red in pic­tures or vide­os. The group was a fun mix that always pro­vi­ded a lot of enter­tain­ment, exci­te­ment and work. Due to the lar­ge amounts of rain, some sec­tions were quite chal­len­ging and made for a lot of dri­ving fun. I will defi­ni­te­ly be going back to Ser­bia to expe­ri­ence the end­less tracks. Once again, my jeep and I embark­ed on the “Secret Car­pa­thi­ans” adven­ture with Alek from Rusti­ca Expe­di­ti­ons as our local gui­de and Nils from NPL Over­land as our sup­port­er and evening enter­tai­ner. The 10-day tour was cha­rac­te­ri­zed by an infi­ni­te­ly natu­ral land­scape, some­ti­mes chal­len­ging tracks, the­r­e­fo­re also some psy­cho­lo­gi­cal and mecha­ni­cal fail­ures, but over­all also by the cohe­si­on of the group. I am the­r­e­fo­re very, very hap­py to recom­mend Alek and Nils for fur­ther adven­tures in the last free 4x4 para­di­se in Euro­pe. With this in mind — cu-Again!

Uni­que! Alek­san­der impres­ses with his uni­que know­ledge of excep­tio­nal places. All the effort of clea­ring the paths is reward­ed by the long-for­got­ten scents of wild mea­dows, clear views of a star­ry sky and breath­ta­king vis­tas. He does­n’t talk about the beau­ty of the land, he shows it and lets you feel it. Many thanks

Lonely tog­e­ther during Coro­na in the Car­pa­thi­ans. Alek­san­der ahead, always knows a way. You have to cut and saw your way free “occa­sio­nal­ly”. But with 2 chain­saws and 3 hand­saws it works. Camp­fi­re every evening. Nils right­ly atta­ches gre­at importance to this. Thank God he has a fabu­lous axe from Swe­den. It makes split­ting wood a pie­ce of cake. The trip was very well orga­ni­zed. A thousand thanks to NPL. The mor­ning brie­fing is very pro­fes­sio­nal. You quick­ly learn what Alek­san­der means by dust-free and obs­ta­cle-free. But when he says “it can work out”, it does. You can abso­lut­e­ly rely on him and Nils. Their con­fi­dence in each other is com­ple­te­ly jus­ti­fied. After all, it’s not every day that we dri­ve at an avera­ge alti­tu­de of 1,600 meters on a 25 degree lon­gi­tu­di­nal and 18 degree late­ral incli­ne. And all this is reward­ed with incre­di­ble views of the Car­pa­thi­ans, hel­pful and fri­end­ly peo­p­le, sen­sa­tio­nal night camps and a cla­ri­ty of stars that we no lon­ger have. The scent of the wild herbs and the show­er under the water­fall will remain unfor­gettable. A thousand thanks to Alek­san­der and Nils, who orga­ni­zed and car­ri­ed out an unfor­gettable tour. We will be back.
