Serbian Tough Tracks

We start our first two days not far from the char­ming litt­le town of Sme­de­revs­ka Pal­an­ka, about an hou­r’s dri­ve from Bel­gra­de. As soon as we lea­ve the city, we head straight into our riding area. The focus here is cle­ar­ly on tack­ling the local tracks tog­e­ther. Over hea­vi­ly over­grown paths, we enter a laby­rinth of for­got­ten tracks, loamy pas­sa­ges and deep­ly washed-out ruts. The win­ches are used for the first time short­ly after set­ting off! In the evening, we relax in a beau­tiful hotel on the out­skirts of the city and enjoy the excel­lent Ser­bi­an cui­sine and per­haps a slivo or two with a cold beer. The next mor­ning we for­ti­fy our­sel­ves with a very good break­fast befo­re it’s time again to see who will be the first to get stuck today.

On the third day, we take the vehic­les on asphalt to our second dri­ving area, away from civi­liza­ti­on. The ter­rain chan­ges now. Once the­re, we start our next off-road stage straight away. We dri­ve for kilo­me­ters through a mys­te­rious river­bed, always fol­lo­wing the cour­se of the water. We explo­re mud­dy forest paths with tri­cky uphill and downhill sec­tions. Con­cen­tra­ti­on is requi­red here. The paths are as slip­pery as soap and don’t for­gi­ve mista­kes. Three action-packed days await us in one of the most beau­tiful regi­ons of Ser­bia. The green hell of Kućaj awaits us.

Many of our paths are very over­grown. We would like to point out that this tour is not sui­ta­ble for par­ti­ci­pan­ts who can­not tole­ra­te signi­fi­cant scrat­ches in the paint­work. We are alre­a­dy loo­king for­ward to see­ing ever­yo­ne else when we say: I need help!
