Morocco Off-Road – The Country, the People, and Authentic Travel
MoroccoFor us, Morocco is so much more than just sand, dirt roads, and spectacular landscapes. Of course, the High Atlas, the Anti-Atlas, the Sahara, and the Atlantic coast are all part of this trip. But we don’t want to just pass through this country.
Small group—maximum of 6 vehicles!

16 Days in Morocco with Your Own Off-Road Vehicle
The trip lasts a total of 21 days, 16 of which we’ll be traveling in Morocco. The remaining days are for travel to and from Morocco, including the ferry crossing.
Our itinerary has been carefully planned, and we know which regions we want to visit. Nevertheless, we don’t follow a rigid daily schedule. The weather, trail conditions, the group, and—above all—whatever happens along the way may influence our trip.
Our guide, Martin, makes a point of connecting with the country and its people. We don’t just drive right past small towns and villages. We visit local markets, shop for groceries together, and pick out the ingredients there that we’ll use later at camp to prepare our dinner. For us, it’s precisely these encounters that make for a genuine trip to Morocco.
And just as important: This tour isn’t about racking up as many kilometers of trail as possible. Off-road riding is, of course, part of the experience, and we’ll be riding on many exciting gravel, rock, and sand trails. But for us, a good trip isn’t measured by how many kilometers off-road the odometer reads at the end. If a market, a village, a special landscape, or a chance encounter is worth a detour, then we’ll take the time to do it!
Sometimes we spend the evening at a campground, sometimes in a small riad, and sometimes we set up camp somewhere out in the countryside—maybe in a secluded valley, on the edge of the Sahara, or wherever we happened to find a spot that afternoon where we just want to stay.
This trip is suitable for off-road vehicles with a low-range gear and all-terrain tires. Travel cabins are available upon request.
