Mysterious Serbian Carpathians (Indian Summer Edition)

Indian summer in Serbia. Experience the Serbian Carpathians with us in a thousand autumnal colors. A spectacular end to the year for all overlanding fans!

Tour description:

Come with us on an unforgettable off-road journey through Europe’s last wilderness.

The population density in south-eastern Serbia is now four times lower than in the west of the country. An ideal place for all lovers of 4×4 off-road travel who are looking for true wilderness, the likes of which can no longer be found anywhere else in Europe. In some areas of the Kucaj Mountains, we drive up to 70 kilometers without passing through a single village — besides many wild animals, we are the only guests in these endless forests.

What our customers say about the tour:

Get to know unknown Serbia

Romania is a country that many off-roaders know. This time we wanted to give Serbia a try and it was really worth it. The tour corresponds to the specified level of difficulty, no winch is required, but it is still a nice mix of gravel roads and somewhat more challenging passages. Top scenery👍👍 The guides were very nice and helpful! The hotel categories in Serbia are of course not comparable with Austrian or German standards, but they are completely ok. I would happily travel with NPL again!

We say thank you!

It was truly unique! A trip that was professionally organized and yet very friendly and cordial. The country, the mountains and the tours speak for themselves. Pure impressions! We would also like to say a huge thank you for your help after our technical defect! We hope to see you again soon, then without a breakdown.

That was great!

The tour was simply fantastic. Beautiful landscapes, challenging terrain, very good accommodation and great support from Nils and Alek. They both have a lot of experience, are helpful and you just feel safe. For us rookies, it was also really nice to ride with so many nice and experienced people in the group. We learned a lot! The contact with NPLOVERLAND was and is always very nice and obliging. We are really looking forward to Tunisia with you in February 2020.

simply great

As long-time off-road enthusiasts in different “weight classes”, we spontaneously set off for Serbia at the last minute as “consolation stragglers”. We have already explored the Carpathians several times from the north (Ukraine) to the middle (3 x Romania). True to the motto: “Old as a cow, still learning”, our expectations were not exactly low. We were not disappointed! Nils and Aleks had everything under control. Well, almost everything (rain was not to be expected). A smooth tour from hotel to hotel with only a marginal amount of asphalt, breathtaking landscapes with the best viewpoints and the tour guides’ good sense for the group and their wishes (to set a few high points even without rain) gave us 6 great days. Everything else has already been said or mentioned in other reviews. In short: If you want to experience the Carpathians and are an off-road enthusiast (no matter what level), you shouldn’t miss this tour. Unfortunately we can only award 5 stars, so here’s another +++ I think we’ll see you again! Helmut and Frank
